| Some people claim Joost Vandecasteele -author, comic and theatre-maker- produces the most intelligent humor in Flanders. Other people "just don't get it". It is rumoured he writes his texts in McDonald's. He brings contemporary criticism in his work. We're unsure of the relation between these two facts, but it is definitely causal. In his theatrical Powerpoint Otaku he tries to answer the most important question ever: 'So what?' He will do this using facts, predictions, charts, reconstructions, opinions and about six jokes. Are his jokes überclichés? Is maximum intellectual depth reached? Who are we to judge? Like with all comedians: no matter who you are, your laughter will betray whether you like it or not. Recorded at the Antwerp Zoo on September 5th 2010.
